1. The Patient Forum is a completely independent body and is totally separate to that department providing HIV treatment and care and the
   rest of the Trust.
2. We are a group of patients who are willing to listen, discuss and then represent patient views.
3. The Patient Forum will endeavour to represent patients views.
4. The Patient Forum will use a variety of methodologies to consult for the views of all patients.
5. The Patient Forum will work with the HIV Department on the design and delivery of new and existing services.
6. The Patient Forum will provide the opportunity for staff and patients to meet in a different environment.
7. The Patient Forum will hold meetings with the Trust’s CEO, Directors and its Governors.
8. The Patient Forum will express a view about the Trust merger with University Hospital
9. The Patient Forum will always strive to achieve the best possible quality of care.
10. The Patient Forum will sometimes work with “Saving Lives”.
